DOORS
Intake Type Doors:Our fire-rated doors meet the current building and fire codes as well as all architectural requirements. Doors are fire-rated in that they carry the 1 ½ hour “B” temperature rise 30 minutes 650 degrees maximum.
All doors are Underwriters Laboratory test #R15927 approved for masonry and/or non-masonry construction-type wall enclosures. Furthermore, the doors meet the requirements of New York City Materials and Equipment Acceptance Division, The New York Board of Standards and Appeals 1 ½ hour “B” rating or NYC MEA #206-96-M.
Outlet Type Doors: “R”: Rolling inclined type. Underwriter Laboratories do not offer a test/label/rating for Horizontal chute type outlet doors. We still offer/manufacture the “RB” door under the fire rating/design requirements.
“THT” Top-Hinged Trash Chute type door and box, to be used where there is no compactor.
“THL” Top-Hinged Linen Chute type door and slow-down box. Our “TH” fire-rated doors meet the current building and fire codes.
“TH” doors are fire-rated and carry the 1 ½ hour “B” temperature rise 30 minutes 650 degrees maximum.
